Directions

  • Shelby is located in Western Michigan. The approximate driving time is 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids, 4 hours from Chicago and 2 hours from Traverse City.

  • From Grand Rapids: Take I-96 West to US-31 North (Exit 1B/Ludington), go north on US-31 to Shelby (Exit 144/Shelby Rd.) approximately 35 miles.
  • From Chicago: Take I-94 East to I-196/US-31, then US-31 North (Holland/Muskegon). Travel on US-31 North to Shelby (Exit 144/Shelby Rd.).
  • From Traverse City: Take U S-31 South toward Ludington, then 25 miles to Shelby (Exit 144/Shelby Rd.).
